The Principal and Founder

Leticia Macias

Director of Regenerative Strategy for Residential Developers

RENOVANT® Professional Consultancy

RENOVANT® is a specialized, U.S.-based boutique advisory practice capitalizing on the strict convergence of advanced building science, structured project management, and data-ethics infrastructure. The firm stands at the precise interface of high-performance LEED® engineering, AI-driven analytics, ESG Impact and Sustainable Investment, and Indigenous ecological knowledge systems—advising individual homeowners, local builders, and researchers who are ready to move beyond standard compliance to achieve a verifiable, NET-Positive impact.
As the founder and principal, Leticia Macias, I lead the practice as a multidisciplinary systems integrator. My execution is backed by professional credentials in Project Management (PMP®), LEED® Green Associate™, AI Project Management (CPMAI™), ESG Impact & Sustainable Investment, and Permaculture Design.
I am a hybrid and a global citizen. Born in California as a U.S. citizen, my technical, environmental, and regulatory education was forged across premier academic and engineering institutions spanning the United States, Mexico, and Iceland. This international pedigree ensures my practice is never confined to a single geographic, bureaucratic, or cultural silo. It is this exact global lens that allows me to ruthlessly separate functional utilities from core values, seamlessly interfacing high-performance building science with my deep Indigenous heritage—carrying ancestral roots in the Otomí, Zapotec, Rarámuri, and Wixárika peoples of Mexico.

The Evolution of Regenerative Built Environments

True regeneration requires moving past the myth of linear progress and the adversarial concept of the vanguard. We do not seek to optimize broken systems or advance into new frontiers of extraction. Instead, we anchor our practice in transformation, renewal, and deep reciprocity—shifting the focus from short-term impressiveness to long-term net positive impact.
As Principal of RENOVANT®, my work translates advanced building science and technical project management into frameworks of relational accountability. Navigating the intersections of technical performance and cultural data sovereignty, I partner with residential developers who are ready to question scale, necessity, and long-term consequence. In practice, this means treating sustainability as an honest ethical discipline—one that prioritizes harm reduction at the source, operates within ecological limits, and honors the continuity of life and place.

Rooted In Heritage, Grounded in Science, Guided by Vision.

Guided by the intersection of ancestral ecological intelligence, artificial intelligence, and high-performance engineering, RENOVANT® Professional Consultancy operates with an absolute commitment to relational accountability and technical rigor.
With a multidisciplinary foundation spanning regenerative design, construction systems, and ecological net-positive impact, I operate at the vanguard of the industry. I have moved entirely beyond traditional sustainability compliance to architect a new standard for residential spaces. I serve as a direct strategic partner to individual homeowners and local builders seeking measurable performance, long-term net-positive asset value, and ecological alignment across generations.

Methodology & Professional Focus

My work is grounded in RENOVANT® methodologies and regenerative transition frameworks, informed by Indigenous ecological knowledge systems and contemporary building science.
Rather than treating sustainability as a basic checklist, I work directly with clients to evaluate how design decisions, materials, and construction processes influence long-term relationships with land, water, and community systems.
My strategic engagements include:
  • High-Performance Design Strategy: Preparing custom residential projects for LEED® for Homes compliance and optimal passive efficiency.
  • Net-Zero & Net-Positive Initiatives: PMP®-led roadmap design for home energy performance, solar-plus-storage, and circular water layouts.
  • ESG & Financing Alignment: Delivering the data-backed regenerative strategy reports required to verify performance metrics, lower asset risk, and unlock green financing or impact capital.
  • Material Evaluation: Rigorous life-cycle assessments to ensure building envelopes are durable, non-toxic, and low-emission.
  • Bioregional Site Strategy: Aligning small-scale custom builds with localized climate thresholds and resource realities.
  • Linguistic & Data Sovereignty: Applying CARE and FAIR frameworks to technical translation and intercultural mediation for sensitive regional / indigenous research.
The result is optimized operational performance, durable asset value, and projects designed strictly within ecological limits. RENOVANT® operates as a rigorous, disciplined practice, not a marketing vehicle. It exists to support straight-shooting decision-making in residential construction and to partner with individuals willing to reduce harm, question assumptions, and build responsibly.

Ancestral Roots, Lived Wisdom

My approach to sustainability and regeneration isn’t just academic and technical—it is lived. I carry 51% Indigenous American Heritage, with ancestral roots in:
  • The Otomi and Zapotec of East Central Mexico.
  • The Raramuri (Tarahumara) of the Northern Mexican plateau.
  • The Wixarika (Huichol), whose sacred ecological traditions continue to inform my understanding of land stewardship.
These traditions embody diverse cosmologies and regenerative practices grounded in relational accountability, ceremony, and ecological guardianship. This heritage informs how I listen, how I assess land, and how I guide teams toward decisions that respect ecological thresholds and intergenerational impact.
